Humane Education

Our humane education classroom programs aim to introduce a variety of animal welfare topics in a fun and informative way. We envision a public empowered with compassion, integrity and wisdom to make better, holistic choices for our global community.

Current options include:

  • Community Outreach Programs - Enrich your school classroom, troop meeting, career day or camp session with a visit from CCHS. Our humane educator will visit your students, delivering age-appropriate programming covering humane concepts through stories, lessons and activities. Our programs help students develop and express compassion, kindness, and generosity, in addition to respect for animals, people and our environment.
  • Shelter tours - Interested in bringing a group of students, scouts, family and friends to CCHS? Our shelter tour is just for you! Your tour guide will lead your group, give you an exclusive look at our facility, and teach you about our organization and the many services we provide to the community. Your group will even get to meet one of our adoptable pets up close!
