Interested in volunteering at the Chautauqua County Humane Society? Download the volunteer application below and submit it to Sue Bloom at the shelter, 2825 Strunk Rd, Jamestown, NY 14701.
Orientations for new volunteers are offered on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to the first 25 who sign up. Upcoming dates for orientations are:
May 8th, June 5th, July 10th
Volunteers are needed on an ongoing, daily basis for:
- Dog walking
- Cat socializing
- Laundry
- Washing dishes
- And many other tasks!
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer adoption counselor? After you go through a general orientation you could attend a workshop to learn how to find forever homes for the animals at CCHS.
Volunteer Adoption Counselor Workshops are every third Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am. Call Sue Bloom for more details at 665-2209.
